Anh has been a PhD candidate in the Department of Political and Social Change since March 2018. She holds a research Master in Ethnology and a Bachelor of Anthropology from Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Her research interests relate to ethnic minorities in Vietnam, discourses of development, ritual and religion, migration, gender and identity. She has participated in several research projects on ethnic minority groups in Vietnam, and this provided the background for her PhD thesis titled “The Negotiation of Identities among Cham Muslim Migrant Women in Urban Vietnam”.
She is the recipient of two scholarships: 2018-2020: HDR Free Merit Scholarship from The Australian National University (320/2015)
