Decolonising Practices in Protecting the Rights of Indigenous Peoples
What does it mean to decolonise practices of protection? What are the factors that either facilitate or constrain the protection of Indigenous rights? Has the framing of rights changed over time? How so? What roles do transnational advocacy and the international framework such as the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples play in changing rights protection landscape? What are the successes and failures?
