Heba Al Adawy is a PhD student at the Coral Bell School of Asia and the Pacific at Australian National University, Canberra. Her research is situated within Interpretivist Political Science and IR. Broadly, her areas of interest include youth politics and youth engagement in the context of militarization and international development practices; transitional justice and peace-building in post-war contexts; political Islam and secularism. Her regional interests have spanned across Eastern Europe, Middle East and (currently) South Asia.
