Eliorah Malifa is co-Director of Pasifika Film Fest. She is also a PhD candidate with the Department of Pacific Affairs at the Australian National University. The focus of her research is the creation of sustainable film and television practices in the Pacific. Eliorah holds a Master of Media Arts and Production from the University of Technology, Sydney; and a Bachelor Arts (Hons) in English Literature with a focus on the Pacific, from Victoria University of Wellington. Previously, Eliorah has worked in arts production, coordinating the Australian delegation to the 11th Festival of Pacific Arts and assisting with the film section at the 12th Festival of Pacific Arts & Culture in Guam. She has managed music tours to remote Australia and completed an internship with the United Nations Department of Public Information. Eliorah currently works with different organisations and programs to promote diversity on Australian screens and assists the Screen Cultures program at Information & Cultural Exchange in Sydney. She is currently in creative development producing a number of screen projects from Pacific practitioners.
