Thea is an experienced researcher and communicator with broad experience across foreign policy, diplomacy and the private sector. Most recently she has worked with the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific to implement a number of strategic initiatives, including the external review of the nine regional institutes, the college's annual Shanghai-based Leadership Program for Westpac Foundation, and has designed and delivered an intensive undergraduate course in Australian foreign policy. She completed her PhD on arms control and multilateral treaties, with case studies on Australia, Canada, New Zealand in 2018.
