Kashmir: The Key to a Grand Bargain
Dr Claude Rakisits from the Asia-Pacific College of Diplomacy has recently published an article with The Diplomat:
It has been over three months since Indian Prime Minister Modi’s government revoked Jammu and Kashmir’s autonomy status and abolished it as a state, replacing it with two Union Territories. Bearing in mind the long history of political suppression in Kashmir and the present draconian security clampdown, it’s obvious the present situation in Kashmir cannot continue and will simply get worse. Honorary Associate Professor Claude Rakisits believes it’s time for daring steps to forge lasting peace. He outlines a bold plan in an article for The Diplomat.
