Claire Cronin and Ellen Kulumbu
DPA congratulates two graduating PhD students
On 12 December two DPA students, Claire Cronin and Ellen Kulumbu were awarded PhDs at a ceremony at Llewellyn Hall, ANU.
Claire started her PhD candidacy with DPA at the end of July 2011 and her thesis looked at the Solomon Islands Truth and Reconciliation Commission, and why many Solomon Islanders agreed that the commission “failed to touch the heart of the people”.
Ellen started her PhD candidacy with DPA in July 2013 and her thesis looked at the determinants influencing women’s health outcomes in Papua New Guinea.
DPA congratulates both Claire and Ellen for their commitment and for this fantastic achievement.
