Ahmad Fuad Fanani
Ahmad Fuad Fanani is a PhD candidate at the Department of Political and Social Change (PSC), the Australian National University (ANU) under Australia Awards Scholarship (AAS).
Before commencing his PhD, Fuad was a researcher at the MAARIF Institute for Culture and Humanity and a lecturer at the Faculty of Social and Political Science (FISIP) Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Jakarta. He graduated from the School of International Studies, Flinders University, Australia, and completed his undergraduate studies in Islamic Studies at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
Research Interest
His research interests are religion and comparative politics, global political Islam, Islamic political thought, religious movements in Southeast Asia, and Indonesian politics.
