David Hopkins

Dave is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Political and Social Change, with a research focus on Myanmar. He has worked in journalism, social justice and social policy roles, and written for a range of media in Australia and Southeast Asia.

His PhD research explores prisons and politics in Myanmar, with a specific focus on the meanings and experience of mass pardons.
