I am a PhD Candidate at the Strategic and Defence Studies Centre, the Australia National University. I am working on a thesis titled "Tacit Understanding: Explaining Southeast Asian States' Restraint Towards China in the South China Sea." My research covers the International Relations of Southeast Asia, particularly on the South China Sea, strategic approach, and Southeast Asian countries' relations with China.
