Tzu-Chien Yen finished his Master of Diplomacy and Master of Arts in International Relations at the Australian National University in 2012. He commenced his doctoral study at the Department of Political and Social Change in October 2015. He is looking at how middle-class people in Indonesia negotiate with religious diversity in their everyday experience. He previously worked at the Department of International Relations as a class tutor and an AusAID tutor for the Graduate Studies in International Affairs.
