The Learning Experience
The GDIA is a flexible, 1-year (full-time) program that can also be completed as a part-time degree. It provides a flexible entry and exit pathway to and from graduate studies that can accommodate your needs and shifting circumstances. It enhances opportunities for training and education, particularly for part-time students from the public and government sectors seeking to build their skills and knowledge in regional and international politics, security and diplomacy.
Students can choose from an extensive range of courses and have access to experts in international theory, international security, international political economy, comparative politics, foreign policy analysis, human rights, international negotiation, conflict resolution, strategic & defence policy, and development & governance in the Pacific.
You will learn how to critically analyse international affairs and foreign policies through a diverse range of disciplines and explore how issues such as globalisation, development, democratisation, terrorism, human security, war and conflict drive political developments in the Asia–Pacific region and around the world.
