Wiebelhaus-Brahm is an Associate Professor in the School of Public Affairs, UA Little Rock. He joined the faculty in 2013 after completing his Ph.D in Political Science at the University of Colorado at Boulder and teaching at Florida State University and the University of Nevada – Las Vegas. His work focuses on International Relations and Comparative Politics, with a focus on Human Rights, Transitional Justice, and Peace & Conflict Studies.

Research Interest

His research interests in the Middle East include 21st century attempts by Arab societies to address human rights violations and the Syrian diaspora’s efforts to craft a transitional justice strategy for the country.
