Lilika Fusimalohi

Lilika Fusimalohi is a Tongan national residing in Fiji. She is current employed as a senior gender and development specialist consultant for the World Bank (WB) programs in the Pacific Energy Sector and East Asia Pacific Health Sector going on three years. Prior to this role she was with the World Bank Group's private sector arm, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) for about five years providing technical support to the Pacific gender program and more specifically the Fiji public sector and private sector businesses to improve business outcomes through developing resilient and respectful workplaces to address employer supported childcare and gender-based violence.

Ms. Fusimalohi has over 15 years of work experience in international development with governments at the national level, regional organizations, bilateral and multilateral donor organizations at the national and regional level engaging in the areas of public sector governance, public financial management reform, private sector development, gender and climate change, Pacific energy and renewable energy, and the East Asia Pacific health sector. She has a keen interest in development effectiveness, more specifically is the application of climate finance that addresses the intersectionality of gender and climate change impacts in the Pacific. Ms. Fusimalohi holds a Masters degree in International Cooperation Policy, majoring in Development Economics.
