Recording now live: The housing experiences of Pacific peoples in Aotearoa New Zealand

On 17th June 2021, DPA hosted a seminar on the housing experiences of Pacific peoples in Aotearoa New Zealand, particularly those living in Auckland.

DPA Pacific Fellow Dr Gemma Malungahu shared findings from a study that explored the impacts of poor housing policy and services on Tongan families living in South Auckland, Aotearoa. She also shared the implications of the study.

The seminar gave the audience an insight into the housing issues some Tongan families living in South Auckland experience and the socio-political housing system that informs this.
