The Toksave Pacific Gender Resource is a new online portal that aims to make quality research on gender in the Pacific discoverable and accessible.

There are currently over 600 research articles available on Toksave, and as the community continues to grow, more and more research will become available. Toksave features not only a dedicated research section with search and filter capabilities, but also a discussion forum, events page and a directory for users to search and connect with other members.

The site has been designed to be mobile phone and user friendly, no matter the speed of the connection. Toksave is the home for all gender research from the Pacific, and it belongs entirely to the community.

Reference Group oversees Toksave and includes representatives from the University of the South Pacific, National University of Samoa, University of Papua New Guinea, University of Auckland, Australian National University and the Pacific Community.

The website was officially launched at a side event of the 14th Triennial Conference of Pacific Women on 23 April 2021.

The Toksave Pacific Gender Resource has been developed with seed funding from the Australian Government through the Pacific Women Shaping Pacific Development program and with ongoing funding from The Australian National University’s Department of Pacific Affairs.
